NORA ELISE (WILLIAMS) WENDT 81, of North Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, November 14, 1999 following an extended illness. She was born December 3, 1917 in Flint, MI to Clara and Archie Williams and moved to Florida as a young girl. Mrs. Wendt participated in the Foster Grandparent Program until her health prevented it. She was the beloved mother of four children, Nora Taylor (Bobbie), Elisabeth Boyatt, John Wendt (Sue) and James Wendt (Sylvia); ten grandchildren, Victoria Lane, Jacqueline Boyatt, Teresa Boyatt, Michael Phillips, David Taylor, Andrew Wendt, Wesley Boyatt, Wendy Wendt, John Wendt and Jessie Wendt; six great grandchildren, Randall Lane, Ryan Lane, Francesca Boyatt, Eli Boyatt, Zachary Boyatt and Jessica Phillips; three brothers, Archie Williams, Willis Williams and Howard Williams; five sisters, Sarah Cartwright, Dolly Whidden, Joyce Knowles, Katherine Dampier and Marguerite Johns. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor J. Wendt in 1992. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday at Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers with Pastor Williams officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday. Private interment will take place in Fort Myers Cemetery.

DENNIS ROBERT WILLIAMS age 57 went home to be with his Lord on September 10, 2005 in Clermont, Florida. He was born on August 24, 1948 in Flint and graduated from Linden High with the Class of 1966. He is survived by: loving wife Debbie and children Michael Anderson and Katie Anderson; beloved parents: Harold Eugene and UnaFern Williams of Clermont, FL (originally of Linden); devoted siblings: Harold Eugene (Janet) Williams of Houghton Lake, MI, Sharon (Don) Smith of Fenton and Timothy (Diane) Williams of Elephant Butte, NM. There are many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will miss his smile, laugh and good natured teasing. We thank God for the precious time shared with Dennis on this earth, and we are comforted to know his voice and his laughter is once again heard with the angels in the heavenly sky. He is preceded in death by: Infant son David R. Williams and son Joseph Anderson, grandparents Harold C. (Adelaid) Williams and Jay (Alena) Schlosser. Service was officiated by Rev. Bruce Stewart on September 13, 2005 at the Open Door Baptist Church of Clermont, FL. In attendance were family and friends who can receive comfort in God's promise of Revelations 21: " and God himself shall be with them and be their God, and shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain...".
