Gail G. Peek
Lansing-Gail G., of Lansing, born August, 1911, in Brady Islands, Nebraska, died March 12, 2009, at the age 97.
Gail was a lifelong resident of Michigan in a patriot serving his country in the United States Army for two wars, the Normandy and Okinawa invasions, and then reenlisting in the service during the Korean War. He was employed for 14 years in the Michigan penal system. Gail love to make children laugh could sing with the best.
Surviving are his son, Thomas; grandchildren, Rick Larry Gregerson, Meaghan Meister, Joel Battiage, and James and Kevin Erb; great grandchildren, Taylor Erb, Jeffrey Shaw-Peek, Kelly and Robbie Gregerson, Jacob and Jackson Meister and Samantha Sloniker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Edith Jenny Peek; daughter, Peggy; grandson, Jeffrey Erb; daughter-in-law, Lynn Shaw; and his brother and sister.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 3 PM at the Goesline-Runciman funeral homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
