Union Township Michigan

Grand Travese County

The township of Union was organized by the board of supervisors in October, 1884, and embraces all of township 26 north, range 9 west. The first supervisor was Byron S. Shepard. There are no villages in the township. The township is all embraced in one school district, in which there are located two school buildings.
