Herman Krolik, born, Prussia, Sept. 14, 1847; son of Joseph and Taube (Gutman) Krolik; educated in public schools of Prussia; unmarried. Came to America, 1865; engaged in retail dry goods business in Oakland Co., Mich., 1865-71; located in Detroit, 1871, and assisted in establishing the dry goods house of A. Krolik & Co. Also treasurer Trussed Concrete Steel Co. Independent in politics. Jewish religion. Member Detroit Board of Commerce, Detroit Credit men’s Association. Mason. Clubs: Phoenix, Fellowcraft.
