TRUMP, William D., railway official; born, Milford, Mich., Mar. 28, 1864; son of Daniel and Susan (Cox) Trump; educated in Milford High School; married at Milford, Aug 24, 1885, Minnie L. Grow. Began railway service as telegraph operator Flint & Pere Marquette Rd., 1883, continuing until 1886; was chief clerk in office of assistant superintendent, 1886-92; chief clerk general superintendent's office, 1892-95; assistant to general manager, 1895-97; general superintendent same road, 1897-1900; superintendent Pere Marquette Rd. at Saginaw, Mich., 1900-03; assistant general superintendent at Detroit, 1903-04, general superintendent same road since ioo4. Also treasurer Tittabawassec Power Co., Edenville, Mich.; director Chicago & West Michigan Ry. Was vice president board of education, Saginaw, two years. Republican. Presbyterian.
