ELIZABETH M. (LAWRY) DELAVAN - age 57, Sterling Heights, formerly of Clawson, died Sunday in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Sept. 11 1921, in Detroit. Surviving are her husband James R.; two sons, Gary Giles, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jeffrey Giles, Howell; two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Linda) Erwin, Novi and Mrs. Charlie (Janice) Miller, Royal Oak; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Delavan was a graduate of Cooley high School, Detroit. Friends may call until 9p.m., today, and from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Sawyer-Swanson Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights. The Rev. morgan Roberts of the First Presyterian Church, Birmingham, will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetary, Troy. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Michigan Cancer Foundation.
