CARPENTER, Dexter 78y Aug 1903 From the Bay City Times (Bay City, Michigan), dated August 17, 1903: - Denise Hansen. A pioneer of Otsego county, died at his farm home Wednesday morning, aged 78. Saturday he suffered a stroke of paralysis, which gradually sapped his remaining vitality.

CRESKA, Teeter 18y Aug 1898 From the Jackson Citizen Patriot (Jackson, Michigan), dated August 22, 1898: - Denise Hansen. Saturday afternoon a sailboat containing three men and five women was capsized near Gaylord, and Teeter Creska, aged 18, and Allie Stott, aged 15, were drowned. The Baptist Sunday school of Gaylord was holding a picnic at Otsego lake and the sailboat party was composed of members.
FRAZIER, Amos   Sep 1879 From the Jackson Citizen Patriot (Jackson, Michigan), dated September 4, 1879: - Denise Hansen. The man whose body was found August 26 in Clear lake, near Gaylord, Otsego county, is supposed to be Amos Frazier, who took up some land near there May 5, and hadn’t been heard of since. He came from New York state.

GOCHEY, Charles   Jul 1904 From the Kalamazoo Gazette (Kalamazoo, Michigan), dated July 6, 1904: - Denise Hansen. Gaylord, Mich., July 5 – One of the best known Grand Army veterans of Otsego county, died this morning after a brief illness. He was wounded at the battle of Gettysburg.

LINNENDOLL, Hugh   Nov 1920 From the Bay City Times (Bay City, Michigan), dated November 4, 1920: - Denise Hansen. Otsego County News. The mystery of the death by shooting of Hugh Linnendoll is still under investigation. Evidence given at the coroner’s inquest points to accidental discharge of a revolver. The inquest has been postponed until Saturday morning.
