Berlin, MI Post Office (1911). If you'll notice over the awning it says, Post Office Berlin - it was in the same building as R. C. Carpenter Drugs & Groceries. Notice the IOOF building on the right.

The Marne Post Office was originally established as Berln on September 23, 1852 with George W. Woodward as its first postmaster. Name changed to Marne on June 5, 1919, Margaret Carpenter was the postmaster at that time.
