Representative from the counties of Delta, Chippewa, Mackinac and Schoolcraft in 1885, was born in the state of New York in 1841. He removed to Michigan in 1844; enlisted in 1801 in the 8th Michigan infantry, and served until the close of the war. Then engaged in the drug business at Flint. Politically a Republican.
