The city of Port Huron is the County Seat of St. Clair County.

St. Clair County is one of the six Counties (Huron, Sanilac, Tuscola, Lapeer, St. Clair & Macomb) that make up
"The Thumb" of Michigan

St. Clair County is also known as the "Blue Water Area".
