Was admitted to the bar, 1892, and began practice in Detroit with Miller, Bissell & Sibley, later as member of firm of Alexander & Paddock, the firm now being Miller, Smith, Alexander & Paddock. Member Michigan Bar Association, Detroit Bar Association. Republican. Episcopalian. Member Loyal Legion (by inheritance). Club: University. Recreations: Hunting, fishing and boating.
