FRANK H. BAMLET

BAMLET, Frank H., real estate; born Detroit, April 18, 1860; son of George and Mary (Wells) Bamlet; educated in public and high schools, 1867-77, and commercial college, Detroit, 1877-78; married at Lansing, Mich., Mar. 29, 1882, Hattie A. Shank. Began active career as clerk in lawyer's office and justice court, where he studied law, 1878-79; in retail jewelry business for himself, 1879-85, and began in building business, 1885, in which he has since been interested, in connection with real estate enterprises; owner of the Bamlet Building and other buildings and residences in the city. President Bamlet Building Co.; chairman board of directors Parkview Land Co. Member Detroit of Estate Board, Board of Commerce. Member Detroit Board of Estimates, 1890-91. Republican. Methodist.
