Biographies
Born in New York, John was a farmer in Brownstown.
He enlisted in 24th Michigan's Company K, August 9th, 1862 at
Brownstown, age 19. He was mustered into service August 14, 1862. He mustered
out with the Regiment at Detroit, Michigan, June 30, 1865. He is buried in Oak
Ridge Cemetery, Wayne County, Michigan.
