Began in dry goods business at age of 18; came to Detroit from Taunton, Mass., 1868, and in the same year assisted in establishing The Newcomb-Endicott Co. Vice president Anderson Carriage Co. Has been identified since the beginning of his business career, 1893, with the Newcomb-Endicott Co., founded, 1868, by his father, and incorporated,1890, and is director and secretary of the company.
