STEVENS, Rollin Howard, physician; born, Blenheim, Ont., Can., Jan. 7, 1868; son of Nathan H. and Ada Jane (Burk) Stevens; educate in public schools until 12; Chatham (Ont.) public and high schools; Toronto University senior matriculation, May, 1886; entered Homeopathic College of University of Michigan, 1886, graduating M.D., 1889; Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, 1889; house surgeon Grace Hospital, Detroit, 1889-1891; Leland Stanford Jr. University, California, 1902; Finsen’s Medicinske Lysinstitut, Copenhagen, Denmark, and post-graduate work, skin diseases, Vienna, Berlin, Hamburg and London, 1902-03; married at Lapeer, Mich., Mar. 16, 1892, Mary E. Thompson, A.B., M.D. Has been connected with Grace hospital as follows: Attending pathologist, 1894-96, gynecologist 1896-1900, dermatologist since 1902, roentgenologist since 1905; also lecturer on skin diseases Homeopathic College at University of Michigan since 1903. Member Detroit Homeopathic Practitioners’ Society (president, 1904-05); Michigan State Homeopathic Society, Southeastern Homeopathic Medical Society, national Society of Physical Therapeutics (vice president 1905-07), president 1907, American Roentgen Ray Society, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Ohio State Homeopathic Medical Society.
