University of Michigan, LL.B., 1870; married at Detroit, Nov. 5, 1894, Alice
Andrus. Engaged in retail hardware business as member of firm of Coulson, Fisher
& Stoddard, 1870-73. Secretary and director Detroit Steel Cooperage Co.;
director Detroit Lubricator Co. Republican; treasurer Detroit Republican City
Committee for six years; member for nine years and president for one year, of
Board of Estimates, Detroit. Presbyterian. member Wayne County Bar Association,
Detroit Board of Commerce. Clubs: Detroit, Country, Old Club. Recreation: Golf.
