TAYLOR, Hedley
Vicars; born, Kingston, Can., Dec. 12, 1859; son of John B. and Jane (Higginson)
Taylor; educated in Dr. Tassies School, Galt, Can., and Trinity College, Port
Hope, Can.; married at London, Ont., Oct. 15, 1886, Annie L. Hunt. Began active
career in employ of Edward Adams & Co., London, Can., 1882; located in
Windsor, Ont., and for five years was partner in firm of Smyth & Taylor,
wholesale grocers; came to Detroit and was identified with Moran-Fitzsimmons Co.
until 1899, when associated with Mr. McLeish and organized firm of Taylor,
McLeish & Co. Episcopalian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Mason. Club:
