THOMSON, Frederick C., assistant treasurer and
assistant manager Michigan Sprocket Chain Co.; born, London, Ont., Can., Sept.
12, 1870; son of Frederick and Catherine (Gauld) Thomson; educated, in public
schools of London; married at London, Nov. 3, 1897, Miss Frances Giddens. Came
to Detroit, 1892, and entered employ of Farrand, Williams & Clark, wholesale
drugs; then became connected with the Detroit Sprocket Chain Co. as cashier for
three years and was with the Detroit Automatic Stoker Co., as secretary and
treasurer about four years; has been identified with the Michigan Sprocket Chain
Co. since 1903 and has been assistant treasurer and assistant manager of the
company since 1904. Republican. Episcopalian. Recreations: Baseball, theater,
