TURRELL, William Oliver; born, San Francisco, Aug. 7, 1862; son
of Oliver B. and Josephine (Clark) Turrell; educated in public schools of San
Francisco; married at Detroit, Dec. 31, 1902, Sue Van Dusen. Began active career
as traveling salesman tea and coffee house, Oregon, Washington and California
territory, 1882, continuing until 1891; was in business in England for three
years; became identified with life insurance business on returning to the United
States, and in 1902 turned to accident insurance; has been secretary and
treasurer Imperia Casualty Co. since Jan., 1907. Republican. Protestant. Office:
