John D. Bolmer, pioneer resident of Pinewood,was buried from the Solway Log
Chapel Saturday afternoon with the Rev. page officiating.He passed away at his home on Wed, Oct 7. Interment was
in the Dodge cementery at Pinewood. Mr. Bolmer was born at Olney,Ill. March 8,1859 and was married to Miss. Ida
Alexander December 23,1883.He is survived by his wife,3 daughters,Mrs.Wm. Binder of Shevlin, Mrs.Geo.Clemmer of
Pinewood and Mrs.Clyde Gorsage of McAllister,Mont. And one son,John of Sydney,Mont.15 grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild. The Bolmers moved to Minnesota in 1916, later moving to Sydney ,Mont. and 5 years ago back to Pinewood.

Former Deer Creek Resident dies at 81......John Clemmer dies in Bemidji, Burial
at Deer Creek.
John Clemmer a resident here for many years,died Sunday at his home in Bemidji. He had suffered a stroke three
years ago and never fully recovered. He was 81 years old. Mr. Clemmer's parents were pioneer residents of Deer
Creek living in the home now owned by Harry Johnson.There were four sons,Nels,John,Horance and Ed,and a daughter,Mrs.Vina
Butler in the family.John is the last member of his family. He is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral
services will be held Thursday in Bemidji. Burial will be in the family lot in Fairview cemetery at Deer Creek.
It is expected the funeral party will reach Deer Creek about 4 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services for John D. Clemmer 80, who died Sunday in Rockwood township,will be Thursday at the Olson Funeral
Home.
The Rev. Robert Page will officiate and interment is in the Fairview Cemetery at Deer Creek.
Mr. Clemmer,who died at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs.Boyd Leonard,had been in ill health for several years.
He was born Nov.5 1871 at Austin Mn. In his youth he resided with his family in North and South Dakota.In 1902
Mr Clemmer moved from Deer Creek to Bemidji and then to Wilton.He went to Buzzle township in 1904 to a homestead
where he lived until about 15 years ago, upon retirement from farming. Mr. Clemmer then lived in Solway and for
the past two years was a resident of Pinewood. Survivors are his wife Rosalia,Two sons, Arthur of Portland Ore.
and George of Ridgefield Wa. One daughter Mabel Erickson of Ridgefield,Wa. 14 grandchildren,one nephew and five
nieces.

Mrs. John Clemmer,who will be remembered as Miss Judson, Dies of Apoplexy
Deer Creek,Sept 28------A message just received here announces the death of Mrs. John Clemmer,which occurred Tuesday
forenoon at 10 o'clock at Pinewood Minn. near Bemidji. She was stricken with Apoplexy last December,and has been
confined to her bed ever since, her right side being paralyzed.
Mrs.Clemmer was about 45 years of age and was a daughter of the late George and Ellen Judson,her maiden
name being Miss.mary Judson. She was born and grew to womanhood in Deer Creek, making her home here until her removal
to Pinewood about fifteen years ago. The family resided on and owned what is now the Gust Lind farm south of this
village.
She is survived by her husband, her son, Arthur, aged about 21,and a daughter, Mabel,aged about 18.Mr.
Clemmer has had more than his share of sorrow in recent years,his brother,Nels, and his only sister, Mrs.J.M. Butler
having died a year ago last Spring, and his brother Horace having died last fall. Mrs. Clemmer's body will be
brought here and the funeral will take place from the Deer Creek M.E. church friday afternoon, the burial being
in the family lot in the cemetery here.
