Ortonville and Cloquet to Debate Here for State Honors
This evening in the high school auditorium the Ortonville High School trio will debate the Cloquet trio for the state championship. The winner of this debate receives the large Minneapolis Journal silver loving cup. To hold this cup permanently the team holding it must win it three years in succession. Formerly the debate was held in the Twin Cities, but this year, due to the influence of Supt. Lurton, who is president of the Minnesota Debating society, the debate was brought here. - - - Buy a Liberty Bond - - -
