SUPREME COURT RENDERS DECISIONS.
St. Paul, May 5.-Two trials with the verdict the same in each, the supreme court holds, in an opinion handed down today, is pretty good evidence that the action brought had some merit. The Atwood Lumber Co. of Carlton county sued Dr. O. S. Watkins, a physician in its employ for house rent and money advanced. Watkins entered a counter suit and the jury recognized his claim. The presiding judge set the verdict aside and granted the lumber company a new trial whereupon the jury gave the doctor a verdict.
The court this time allowed the verdict to stand and the supreme court sustained it.
