The Princeton Union (Princeton, MN) Wednesday, January 8, 1879; submitted by Jim Dezotall
Twenty-four births and 12 deaths in the township of Princeton for the year ending December 31st, 1878. Of the deaths 5 were children, - none attained the age of six months, 2 were middle-aged ladies who had contracted consumption long before they arrived in Minnesota, 3 were old ladies, - not one of them less than 73 years old, 1 committed suicide, and 1 was an Indian who had seen 106 summers. Who says Princeton is not a healthy place to live in.
