- - 1914 - - WARBA SCHOOLS CLOSE WITH SHORT PROGRAM

Warba, Minn., June 2.-The public school of Warba presented a program under the direction of the teachers, Miss Margaret ODonnell and Miss Lucy Stevens. Prof. G. H. Howard of the college of agriculture, spoke and was followed by Supt. E. A. Freeman of Grand Rapids.

School was closed with a picnic.


- - 1914 - - WARBA MAN GIVEN CONTRACT FOR SCHOOL

Warba, Minn., July 14.-William Pogue of this place has been awarded the contract for building a school house in section 16-55-23 for the sum of $733. The new building will be situated three miles from the Trout Lake school.
