A modern school house was recently completed at Halma, Minn. This building is right up to the minute in every detail, including a heating and ventilating system. The equipment provides for the teaching of agriculture, as well as all regular subjects up to the ninth grade.

Twelve school children from Halma, Minn., are spending the day in Winnipeg as a reward for having gained honors in their school work during the years. The trip, which is an annual affair, is sponsored b the Olaf A. Locken Post No. 315, of the American Legion. The children are in charge of E. M. Broughton, commander of the post.
