BRAINERD, Minn., June 6. – Miss Lillian Feldman of International Falls and Hilman Aal were married here this aftenoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hagberg, sister of the bride. Guests present included Tegman Aal, brother of the bridegroom, and J. W. Feldman of Northome, father of the bride.

Miss Elizabeth McClelland and Professor Lafayette R. Adky were married at Sunnyside, near Mizpah, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Freese, formerly of Minneapolis. Rev. J. B. Astwood performed the ceremony.

International Falls, Minn. – At Holy Apostles Catholic church Rev. Father Killeen spoke the words which united the lives of Edward Gendry and Miss Blanche Sabourn yesterday. The ceremony was witnessed by many of their friends. The bride was attired in white satin, trimmed with pearl ornaments, and wore slippers, gloves and hat to match her gown. The bridesmaid, Miss Edna Therrio, was also dressed in white.

MIZPAH, Minn.-The marriage of James Cheek and Miss Viola Fraley took place at the home of the bride's parents, Rev. J. B. Astwood officiating. Their wedding tour will include the central and southern states.

NORTHWEST WEDDINGS.
MIZPAH, Minn.-Rev. E. Kingman officiated at a pretty wedding at the beautiful farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Slats, when their daughter, Miss Henrietta Slats, was united in marriage to Edward Francis. The bride was gowned in white silk mull, and was accompanied by Miss Lulla Slats as maid of honor. The bridegroom was accompanied by William Hangeleben as best man.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn., Sept. 4. – Luther Hanson, son of Rev. Hanson, and Miss Anderson of Vancouver, B.C., were united in marriage at the Swedish Lutheran church. They will go to Fergus Falls where the groom has accepted a position as musical director of a college.

Northome, Minn. – The marriage of Hannibal Johnson and Miss Edna Cotton was solemnized at Wildwood at the home of Justice John Bursack. The couple were attended by Paul C. Becker and Mary M. Rousse. The bride wore old rose silk and carried a bouquet of orange blossoms. The bridesmaid wore dark blue silk. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Napoleon Rousse.

VIRGINIA, Dec. 28. – Samuel Kratzenstein of International Falls and Miss Jeannette Cain of this city were married at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. H. Baer, 222 Beech street. Dr. Lefkowitz of Duluth officiated. The groom is a brother of David Kratze, a local clothier, and the groom has resided in the city about a year. They left for International Falls, where the groom is in business. Out-of-town guests at the wedding were: Charles Reichenbaum and son and Mrs. Gilbert Killer and children, all of Milwaukee, Wis.

NORTHWEST WEDDINGS.
Mizpah, Minn.-Miss Elenore Ryder of Hibbing and Editor Val. T. Kuechenmeister of the Northome Record were united in marriage at the home of Dr. and Mrs. F. X. Boucher in this village. Only a few close friends were present and the wedding services were performed by Justice of the Peace Engleking of Northome.

DEER RIVER, Aug. 23. – Numerous bridal showers in compliment to Miss Agnes Celestia Lalonde of Deer River were terminated when she became the bride of Ray Langraft of International Falls, at St. Mary’s church, with Rev. Father Buechler officiating. The ceremony took place before an altar of evergreens and ferns interwoven with white astors, sweet peas and baby breath, and lighted by tall standards bearing cathedral candles.

Following the services at the church a wedding breakfast for intimate friends and relatives was served at the home of the bride’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. O’Connell. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hyatt of Duluth, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Briggs of Minneapolis and Mr. and Mrs. H. Logan of International Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Langraft left for a wedding trip to Milwaukee and Chicago.

INTERNATIONAL FALLS – Miss Gertrude Sullivan and Hugh Logan were married in St. Thomas’ Catholic church. A wedding breakfast followed at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Hannah Sullivan. They are spending their honeymoon in Winnipeg, and will live in Grand Rapids. The bride was clerk in the local postoffice and secretary of the civil service board. The bridegroom, a returned service man, was in business in Cass Lake.


Matbon - Wise

VIRGINIA, Jan. 11. – Louis Francis Wise and Miss Victoria Matbon stole a march on their friends today by giving them the slip at International Falls and coming to Virginia to be married. The ceremony was performed this afternoon by Municipal Judge Carey, while their friends were wondering “what’s up.” The bride is from La Crosse, Wis., and the groom employed in International Falls by the Backus Woods company. A mutual friend to both provided a great little “fixer,” procuring Judge Carey on the spur of the moment to say the happy words. Between hearing I.W.W. cases and officiating at marriage ceremonies, Judge Carey “led the league.”

Friends in this city will be much interested in the announcements of the marriage of Miss Nellie Marie Woolsey, daughter of Mrs. Louise Woolsey of the Kelsey block, and Francis E. McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. McDonald, 511 North Fifth street, which occurred in International Falls, Minn., Monday, July 12. The young people were married at the parochial residence and the ceremony was performed by Father Dwyer.

Mr. McDonald and his bride will reside in International Falls.
