HUSBAND GRANTED DIVORCE
Judge Lewis yesterday granted a decree of absolute divorce to Henry C. Herbert from Marie E. Herbert. The couple were married in Fairmont, May 25, 1903, and the plaintiff alleges that his wife deserted him while they were residing in this city, October 10, 1903.

FAIRMONT, Minn., March 15.-Judge C. H. Tifft, sitting at the trial of A. C. Townley, president of the National Non-Partisan League, and Joseph Gilbert, state secretary of that organization, charged with conspiracy to obstruct the selective draft, to-day overruled the demurrer asked by the attorneys for the defendants and certified the case to the State Supreme Court.
