Miss Josephine Hertzog was married Tuesday to Frank Butler of Winsted, Minn. The young people left Wednesday for Winsted, where they will make their home.

Cards have been received in the city announcing the marriage of Miss Gertrude Bergmann to Clarence W. Higgins, the ceremony having been performed at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Bergman, of Plato, Minn., on Tuesday.

The bride at one time was head trimmer in Miss Hetland's millinery establishment and the groom last year was employed on the editorial staff of the Pioneer. They will be at home at 2605 Grand Ave., South Minneapolis on and after July 15.

Miss Lauretta Welch of Glencoe, Minn., and M. C. Rauch of Leith were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Welch. After a short wedding journey, Mr. Rauch will bring his bride to Leith to reside.

WEBSTER, S. D.-Charles C. Rieger of Webster, formerly of Plato, Minn., and Miss Julia Sorum of Bristol, S. D., were married last night at the home of the bride.


Templin - Miller

EAST SIDE SOCIAL.
The marriage of John E. Templin and Miss Anna Miller was solemnized at the Lutheran church at Plato, Minn., last Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Attending the bride were her sister and the sister of the bridegroom, Miss Bertha Miller and Miss Bertha Templin, while attending the bridegroom were his brother and the brother of the bride, also, bay a strange coincidence, bearing the same name-Willie Templin and Willie Miller. The bride and her attendants were gowned in pure white.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Miller. There were about 150 guests. After spending some time with relatives and friends in and about Plato, Mr. and Mrs. Templin arrived in Minneapolis Tuesday evening. They will be at home after Oct. 1 at 415 First avenue NE.

HUTCHINSON, Minn., Oct. 5. – Miss Mary A. Pendergast, daughter of W. W. Pendergast, state superintendent of schools, was married to Professor J. A. Vye of the University of Minnesota.
