SUPREME COURT RENDERS DECISIONS.
For 23 years John Burk, of Nicollet county enjoyed undisturbed possession of a tract of land, the title to which ultimately would have been vested in him by adverse possession.
Seeing imaginary complications, he entered into a contract with the original owner, A. G. Olson for the purchase of the ground for a small sum. There was a hitch and when the matter got into court Burk claimed the ground by right of adverse possession. The lower court ruled against him and today the supreme court affirmed that ruling, holding that an acknowledgment of the original owner's title breaks the continuity of adverse possession.
