PENNINGTON WILL CASE SETTLED OUT OF COURT.
Thief River Falls, Minn., May 9. The case of the heirs at law of the late C. H. Peterson of Sanders township against Mrs. Helga Gerfsness, wherein it was sought to have the last will of Peterson set aside, was settled out of court.
Mrs. Gerfsness, to whom personal property to the amount of $9,000 was left by the will, and who was the decedent's housekeeper for many years, agreed to a division of $1,000 among the plaintiffs if the suit was dripped, and this was agreed to.
At a previous hearing before Judge of Probate Lars Backe the will was admitted to probate over the objection of the same heirs.
The property involved includes about $7,000 in cash, $600 in Liberty bonds and a small amount in bank stock and notes.
