Source: Duluth News-Tribune (MN) Saturday, August 7, 1915; transcribed by Mary Kay Krogman

HINCKLEY, MINN.
Officer Newton and Attorney Lamson of this place made a trip to Beround and raided the roadhouse there. They brought back 10 gallons of alcohol with them and a case of beer. Seventeen half barrels were found in the basement which, upon examination, were found to contain beer. The house was raided Saturday night about 9 o'clock. The owner was up on the range, but the bartender was arrested and released upon his promise to appear in court in Hinckley.
