St. Paul, Minn., Nov. 24.-Attorney General Young of Minnesota today had papers served on the Atlantic Elevator company of Minneapolis, a Minnesota corporation and the Osborne-McMillan Elevator company of Wisconsin showing that a suit had been begun against those companies in Lowry, Minn. The suit is the first under the anti-trust law of 1899. The companies are charged with exercising unlawful restraint of trade, in that they resorted to coercive methods to destroy the Farmers' Elevator association of Lowry, a small town in Pope county, and the merchants of the town who had given the rival concern support.
