LONG PRAIRIE, Minn., Nov. 5.-The regular fall term of the district court will convene here next Monday afternoon with Judge Baxter presiding. There are more than the usual number of interesting cases to come up for trial. Indictments are expected as a result of several assault cases in different parts of the county this summer and the trials will attract general attention over the whole country. The Hand-Nelson assault case from Eagle Valley and the Schlie-Runyon shooting case from Reynolds are the two most important of these cases.
