A station on the N. P. R. R., in the southeastern part of Wadena county, 10 miles from Wadena, the county seat, and 175 miles from St. Paul. Telegraph, Northwestern. Express, United States. Mail, twice daily. M. W. Kelly, postmaster.

A settlement in the southwestern part of Wadena county. Wadena, the county seat and nearest railroad station, lies 4 miles south.

A settlement of 50 people and a station on the N. P. R. R. in Wadena county near the center of the southern line, 7 miles from Wadena, the county seat, and 175 from St. Paul. Wing river here might be made available as a water power. Settlement was made in June 1, 1877. Mail, twice daily. L. W. Smith, postmaster.

A village of 150 inhabitants and a station on the N. P. R. R., the county seat and in the southwestern part of Wadena county, 120 miles from St. Paul. Contains a Union church and district school. Exports, grain and lumber. Telegraph, at the R. R. office. Express, United States. Stage to Parker's Prairie. Mails, twice daily. L. F. Yeaton, postmaster.
