The plastering of the school house is being delayed for want of funds. Where is the money for which our school district bonds were negotiated, is what we should like to know.

The school house question is being negotiated again and we hope they mean business this time. At any rate we need a school house. We have plenty of scholars and why not go to work and build it, then we will be all O.K.

Commercial Club Turns Down Proposition to Exchange Old Building With County.
(News Tribune Special.)
WADENA, Minn., Feb. 5.-The Wadena Commercial club met to consider a plan which contemplated an exchange of property between Wadena school district and Wadena county. Wadena is about to erect a $50,000 school building on the site of the old building, which will be torn down. Some taxpayers, who are against razing the old building, proposed to sell the county court house property to the village for city hall purposes, and dispose of the old school building and grounds for use as a court house. This plan then contemplated the new school on an entirely new site. The Commercial club did not look with favor on the plan, which was voted down. The school board has invited plans for the new school building.
