CHILDREN TAKEN AWAY.
Writ of Habeas Corpus Issued Out of a Stillwater Court.

Stillwater, Minn., May 8.-Court Commissioner Doe has signed a writ of habeas corpus directing Thomas Perro of Hugo this county, to bring into court the two children of Joseph Jerry. The latter lives at Withrow and has been separated from his wife for some time. It is alleged that during his absence from home Perro, his wife's brother, carried the children away.

At Stillwater a writ of attachment is sued out against the property of Ald. R. W. Kerr, who is charged with fraud. The defendant is said to have gone to Canada.
