Rev. Donald T. Grey, pastor of the Breckenridge Baptist church, offers this suggestion of the meaning of the Christmas Red Cross Seal: "Write out the gospel of the Open Air, and then squeeze it down to the size of a postage stamp, illustrate it with a smily Santa Clause, illuminate it with cheery red and green of holly, and bind it with a penny given to send a consumptive on his way whole and praising God-and when you have finished you will have a Red Cross Christmas Seal."
