Winona, Minn., Oct. 19.
The corner-stone of the Minnesota State Normal School edifice was laid here this afternoon by Gov. Marshall, in the presence of a great concourse of people, estimated at from twenty-five hundred to three thousand. Speeches were made by the Governor, Chief Justice Wilson, and Hon. M. H. Dannell. The day was delightful, and the ceremonies very impressive.
