The Centinel, Gettysburg, PA, July 10 1811
A Natchez (Mississippi) paper of the 29th of May states that the continuation and unexampled rise of the Mississippi has driven from their plantations and particularly on the western side, a number of the wealthiest planters and that the cotton is completely ruined. Hogs, cattle &c. have perished to an immense number.
