DREAD CHARBON ________ Horrible Disease Epidemic in Bolivar County, Mississippi ________ Special to The Register. New Orleans, July 4 - The health authorities of Bolivar county, Miss., have allowed charbon to get grip on the stock of that county until it now finds it is impossible to check the epidemic. Up to the present time 1200 animals have died from the disease, of which 500 were mules. Several men were recently infected, and are said to be in a critical condition.
