Mannen Clements Simpson Family Bible

This Bible was published in New York by the American Bible Society in 1884.  It was given by Mannen Clements Simpson to his daughter Lela Augusta Simpson on her twelfth birthday (1886).  The last known owner of the Bible was Mrs. C. W. Giersch of Arkansas.

Elizabeth Simpson died June 22nd 1869

M. C. Simpson died Nov. 3rd 1886

Lula J. Simpson died Nov. 6th 1901

Silvester Colfax died Sept. 12 1891

E. A. Colfax died Sept. the 2 1897

S. J. Simpson died Jan. 13 1912

W. Z. Simpson died May 8th 1930

Lela Augusta Simpson died April 25th 1959 at 10:15 a.m.
