Negro Killed by Falling Limb Near Gordon Station

    Port Gibson, Miss., Sept. 3 - The body of Dexter Cox, a negro, was turned over to an undertaker here, to-day for burial.  Cox was getting out timber in the woods near Gordon Station.  he was cutting down a tree, when a dead limb fell from the tree and struck Cox on the head, fracturing his skull, causing instant death.
