ENTERPRISE, Miss. – Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p. m. in the Pine Hill Baptist Church, Route 2, Enterprise, for Mrs. Rilla (Baker) Brannan, 85, with the Revs. David Hampton, C. F. Killiam, and T H. Logan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Walters Funeral Home, Quitman, in charge.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Overby and Mrs. J. J. Little, both of Route 2, Enterprise; two brothers, Ed Baker, Melvin, Ala., and Joe Baker of Denham Springs, La.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Snowden, T. B. Everett, Lamar Moore, C. C. Killiam, Clarence Kidd, and Edward Speed.
The body will be at the family residence, Route 2, Enterprise, until funeral hour.

Miss Margaret Bell, age 68, of Carmichael, Miss., passed away December 27 at 4:30 A. M. following a stroke of paralysis.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held December 28 at 10:00 A. M, from Andrew Chapel, with Rev. Gresham officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Barbara R. Blair
Services for Barbara R. Blair were held on January 31, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. John Stevens officiated.
Mrs. Blair, 74, of Quitman, died January 29, 1995, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
She born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and came to Quitman with her husband in 1946. She was employed by L. C. Sykes, Atkins Tire Company, Mississippi Power Company and T. K. Stanley Oil field Construction. She enjoyed her work and the people she came in contact with. She was also a member of First Baptist Church, Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Vlair, Quitman; two daughters, Christine Buffington, Plano, TX; and Anne Wilson, Corinth; a son, William Blair, Brandon; three sisters, Elvina Tueller, Provo, Utah; Freda Stark, Abilene, TX; and Mary Margaret Lynn, Springfield, PN; a brother, Robert Rasmussen, Paonio, CO; sister-in-law, Jessie Rasmussen, Portland, Oregon; and twelve grandchildren.

David Wayne Boone

QUITMAN — Memorial services will be held at a later date for David Wayne Boone.
Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Boone, 50, of Quitman, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, in his home.
Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Boone; father, Henry Boone; one
brother; one sister and several nieces and nephews.

Marcus Howard Bowen
Service for Marcus Howard Bowen were held Sept. 2 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with the Rev. Douglas Cook and the Rev. Floyd Gentle officiating. Interment was in in Serenity Gardens at Waynesboro.
Bowen was the 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bowen of Enterprise. He was killed in an automobile accident on Highway 45 last week.
In addition to the parents survivors include a sister, Jill Bowen; grandmother, Mrs. Rosa Lee Bowen, Laurel; uncle, Ray Cantrell, Waynesboro; aunt, Mrs. Gail Parker, Laurel; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Mandy Foster, Epworth, Ga., and Mrs. Mandy Cantrell, New Smyrna, Fla.

Robert W. (Bob) Brashier
Services for Robert Wesley (Bob) Brashier were held Friday at 2 p.m. in Zion Rest Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Cottingham and the Rev. Rubert Blue officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Wrights Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Brashier, 85, Route 1, Shubuta, died Thursday in Laurel General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Brashier, Shubuta; a son, Robert W. Brashier, Jr., Laurel; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
