Interment followed in Bexley Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Havard and Rev. John White officiating the services.
Retired from the right-of-way crew with Singing River EPA and a member of the Baptist faith, he died August 3. He was born September 15, 1943.
He is survived by his wife Susie Fairley; daughters Cindy (Craig) Hyatt and Cecilia (Ernie Ray) Littlefield; grandchildren Heather (Jason) Brooks, Christy (Mitchell) Davis, Travis (April) Hyatt and Haley Littlefield; and great grandchildren Makenleigh Brooks, Jace Brooks and Braxton Davis.
He was preceded in death by his great grandchildren Macie and Jordan Brooks and parents Shep and Lottie Fairley.
Pallbearers included John White, Kris Fairley, Stokes Ludgood, Toby Brannon, Shannon Gore and Scott Brown.

Obit: Ina Fae Fant, 93, of Ellisville, MS, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Care Center Of Laurel in Laurel, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS with Rev. Joseph Harris and Rev. Keith Ulmer officiating. Burial will be in Ellisville City Cemetery.
Through the years Ina invested herself in many occupations. She was a housewife, an employee of Movie Star and of Reliance, and she sewed for the public.
Ina is preceded in death by her husband, Preston Fant; parents, O.R. Bufkin Sr. and Olivia Updyke; brothers, Bobby Bufkin, O.R. Bufkin Jr. and Pat Bufkin and sisters, Virginia Smith, Dot Issler and Irene Parker.
Survivors include her son, Mike Fant (Phyllis), Shreveport, LA; daughters: Pat Blackmon (James), Ellisville, MS and Portia Anderson (Mark), Deatsville, AL; brothers, Noah Bufkin, Jimmie Bufkin and Roland Bufkin; sisters, Rose Bogach, Rachel Kirkwood, Rita Bexley and Helen Knox; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Tim Blackmon, Mitch Fant, Chris Lovett, Tyler Anderson, Stanley Fant and Dale Fant will serve as pallbearers.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, a retred electrician at Ingalls Shipbuilders and a member of Benndale Church of God, he died April 28 in Pascagoula. He served in Vietnam and subsequently retired from the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara A. Fallin of Benndale; son Duane (Angie) Fallin of Benndale; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters Gloria (Billy) Lynch of Shreveport, LA and Laverne Vinson of Memphis, Tenn.; and brothers Jackie (Barbara) Jones of Monroe, LA., Winfred (Elaine) Jones of Houston, Texas and Douglas (Ann) Jones of Texarkana, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wesley F. Fairley Jr. and Gerald Fairley; three sisters, Marie Galle, Janie Lou and Dorothy Fairley.
Survivors include one brother, Dr. Willie D. "Bill" Fairley of Ocean Springs, Miss.; five nieces, Lynda (Eddie) Smith of Hurley, Miss., Jean (Robbie) Maxwell of Pascagoula, Miss., Nell (Elwin) Cropp of Theodore, Ala., Patricia (Bill) Lobrano of Ocean Springs and Donna (James) Huebsch of Windermere, Fla., and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at 3 p.m. in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiggins, Miss.

He was a member and former deacon at Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS.
He is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Joshua Rodriguez and a great-grandson, Jaxon Walden.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Laura Belle Buckley Faulkner; two daughters, Tammy Gibbs (Marc) and Donna Faulkner Rodriguez; son, James Marcus Faulkner (Kami); three grandchildren, Tambra Gibbs Wolens, Laura Gibbs Walden and Marcus Lee Gibbs; great grandchildren, Marcus Lee Gibbs III and Nevaeh; sister, Barbara Faulkner Calhoun; two brothers, Gary Faulkner and Frank Faulkner; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Reverend James Wells and Chaplain Marc Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Pascagoula, MS.

Services were conducted by Rev. Glenn Freeman. Interment was in the Beaumont Cemetery in Perry County.

Obit: On December 29, 2002, God called a bold, faithful soldier, Mrs. Ora Fairley to rest. Mrs. Fairley, the daughter of the late Lizzie Moody Fairley and Robert Fairley, was born February 4, 1924 in Leaf.
She united with the Sweetwater Methodist Church, where she was an active member. She was employed at Lucedale Sportswear and was a housekeeper.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Arthur "Mann" Fairley, Sr. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Fairley and Earnest Fairley, one granddaughter, Brenda Fairley, and two grandsons, Charles Fairley and Frederick Dortch.
Mrs. Fairley will be sadly missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Paul Fairley of Pascagoula and Minister Willie (Shirley) Fairley of McLain; six daughters, B. V. Sanders, Reola (Philip) Woods, Leaster Archie and Cammie Hilton of Biloxi, Levern (Willie) Matthews of Pascagoula and Rosie Fairley of McLain; one sister, Mrs. Dora (Melvin) Sims of State Line; three sisters-in-law, Missouri Fairley and Hattie Dickey of Benndale, and Ovellie Fairley of Gulfport; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many devoted friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ in Benndale. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery in Benndale.

Ray's daughter, Victoria, honored her dad with the song "Amazing Grace." His son, Timothy, honored him with a few written words, as well as his wife. The songs "Who Am I" and "I Can Only Imagine" were also sung by Scott Loftus.
He was an ironworker and active paying member of Local #798 for over 45 years. He had various physical problems which caused him to retire disability many years ago. He died May 27, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rufful Fallon; son Timothy (Paula) Fallon of Leakesville; three daughters, Ann (Bob) Collins, Victoria Goff and Rachel (Shannon) Cochran, all of Lucedale; eight grandchildren; sister, Lillie Mae Dickerson and six brothers, Matthew Fallon, Arties Fallon, Wendell Fallon and Gerry Fallon, all of Lucedale, Frank Fallon of Leaksville and Bill Fallon, presently of Bosnia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arties Ray Fallon and Lessie Lee (Roberts) Fallon; brother, Morris Wayne Fallon and sister, Emma Lee Fallon.

Obit: Funeral services for William M. Fairley, 65, of Basin community, were held June 2 at Fails Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m.
He died June 1, 1993, at Providence Hospital in Mobile following a long illness. He was a native of George County and a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. He was a retired Rigger, a member of the Boiler-maker Union and a Korean War Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gwendolyn Fairley; three sons, Allen K. Fairley, William Stanton Fairley and Steven Lewis Fairley; six grandchildren; and his parents, Roy and Lillie Fairley, all of the Lucedale area.
Also surviving are two sisters, Virginia Havard and Eugenia Howell; and one brother, Archie Fairley, also of Lucedale.
Services were conducted by Revs. J. A. Sharp and Kennie Hill. Interment followed in the Hilltop Cemetery. Fails Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Obit: On Saturday, August 24, 2002, an angel was dispatched from heaven to bring home the soul of Evangelist Missionary Francine Denise Moore Fairley.
Evangelist Missionary Francine Fairley was born July 30, 1962, to the proud parents of Sister Inez Woods Fairley and Mr. Leonard (Bill) Murphy.
Missionary Fairley's education started in Richton and was completed in George County after moving to the area. She also attended Jones Jr. College and George County Occupational Training Center.
Missionary Fairley received God into her life at an early age where she united with New Hope Baptist Church in Richton. After moving to Lucedale, she united with the Lucedale Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of Superintendent Larry Burney, where she remained faithful and devoted until the Lord called her home to rest. Her works included Bible Band President, Choir Director, Crusader for the youth, Coordinator of first appreciation program for Superintendent Burney, Collector of Wayne Lee's receipts, from which the church received a percentage of money, Pray Warrior, Recording Secretary for the Women's Department, Sunday School teacher, member of Hospitality, Sunshine Band helper, Evangelist and Revivalist.
In January of 1996, Missionary Francine was united in Holy wedlock with Mr. Lonnie Wayne Fairley, whom she loved dearly.
Two brothers, Tony Taylor and Royce Murphy, one sister, Phyllis Underwood and grandmother, Mary Moore, preceded her in death.

Obit: Helen Grace Farnham, 88, went to meet her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2013. She was born July 25, 1924 in Simpson County. After marrying D.C. Farnham, she moved to Ocean Springs in the mid 50's making 217 Dewey Avenue her residence for the rest of her life. Helen's love for people led her to operate a child care in her home to help support her family. This service has touched the lives of many families. She continued to keep children until turning 85. A lot of the children she kept were from multiple generations from the same families. She left here being one of the oldest members of the church she loved, First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. She would walk to church every Sunday because she did not drive and did not want to be a burden to anyone but did have the desire to attend. She was a faithful member as well as a faithful servant for the Lord.
She leaves behind 1 grand-daughter Sonja (Bubba) Foshee (Lucedale), 2 grandsons Randall J Hebert (Ocean Springs), Billy Farnham (Lucedale), 1 great grandson Levi Foshee (Lucedale).
She is going to meet her husband, D.C. Farnham, both parents, Ella & Johnny Barnard, 1 daughter Jill (James) Hebert, 1 son Joe (Betty) Farnham, 1 grandson Joey Farnham, 3 sisters Vondell Miller, Nan Duff, Betty Sullivan, and 1 brother John Barnard.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 am Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will commence Thursday, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with burial in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

She was employed with Glen Oaks Nursing Home for over twenty years and George County Hospital where she retired as a dietitian.
She was a faithful member of the St. James United Methodist Church. She served as a Trustee, Pastor Parish and Parsonage Committee.
Her peaceful life came to an end on Wednesday, May 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Harriet Polk; her husband, W.C. Fairley; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Fairley; two son-in-laws, Roosevelt Love, Sr. and Myran "Bo" Thompson; two sisters, three brothers, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur and Ora Fairley; two brothers, Arthur Fairley and Ernest Fairley; two nieces, Myra Flannigan and Brenda Fairley; two nephews, Charles Fairley and Fredrick Dortch and one great niece, Tandrea Coleman.
Rosie will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She taught school in Itawamba County, Starkville Municipal School District and Vicksburg Municipal. During the last few years of her career she was the Supervisor of Elementary Reading in the Vicksburg System.
Survivors include Dr. W.D. Fairley, her husband of almost 66 years; three daughters, Nell F. (Elwin B.) Cropp, Mobile, AL, Patricia F. (Dr. William B.C.) Lobrano, Ocean Springs, MS, Donna F. (James D.) Huebsch, Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Julie C. (Robert P.) Simon, Cori Rigsby, Michael Cropp, Kerri Rigsby, Kimberly Huebsch. She is also survived by five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Service will be at 12:00 p.m. Both will take place at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.

He was a World War II veteran. A member of Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church, he died January 20, 2006.

Fairley of Charlotte, NC; six daughters, Ella (Timothy) Smith of Goldsboro, NC, Sandra (Carlton) Lyons of Philadelphis, Linda Fairley of California, Diane (Willie) Fairley of Elkton, KY, Carolyn Fairley of Baltimore, MS and Ann Missouri of Goldsboro, NC; four sisters, Vaida Fairley of San Francisco, Calif., Vice Fairley of Los Angeles, Calif., Eunice Fairley of Gulfport and Onedia Fairley of Pacoma, Calif.; one brother, Preston (Elsie) Fairley of gardenia, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fairley and parents, Needom and Ozie Fairley.
Cowan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Obit: Funeral rites for Henry Clarence Fairley, 91, were held March 25 at 2 p.m. at Fails Funeral Chapel in Lucedale.
He was a native of George County and a resident of Leaf. He was a farmer and member of the Methodist faith. He died March 23, 1993, at Glen Oaks Nursing Home.
He is survived by 10 children, Charles Ray Fairley of San Diego, Calif.; Lavelle Fairley of Mobile; Etoile Buckhalter, Jackie Howell and Kathy Davis, all of Lucedale; Lavada Havard of Forest; J. W. Fairley, Faye Havard, Gene Fairley and Dean Fairley, all of Leaf. Also surviving are 43 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Others surviving are two brothers, Ellis Fairley and Shelton Fairley, both of Leaf; and five sisters, Nancy Goff and Hattie Edwaards, both of Leaf; Lena Fairley of Beaumont, Ethelene Havard of Rocky Creek and Thelma Byrd of Moss Point.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Fairley and a daughter, Lorene Cochran.
Conducting the services was Rev. Larry Havard. Interment was in the Joe P Fairley Cemetery in Leaf with Fails Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included Kevin Havard, Mike Cochran, Mark Fairley, Bobby Fairley, Mitchell Buckhalter and James Cochran. Honorary pallbearers were Fritz Fairley, Jason Fairley, Bennie Breland and Brian Havard.

Obit: Funeral services for William David Fairley, 73, of Rt. 3, Lucedale, were held September 25 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
He died September 22, 1993 at Singing River Hospital following an extended illness. He was a native of George County and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
He was retired from Singing River Electric Power Association, and owned and operated Fairley's Grocery for a number of years.
He is survived by three daughters, Margaret Evans of Houston, Tex.; Nena Dubose of Lucedale; and Cindy Green of Corona, Calif.; one son, Bill Fairley of Mobile, Ala.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys Patterson of Lucedale and Dorothy Letort of Biloxi; and one brother, Ralph Fairley of Lucedale.
Conducting the services were Rev. H. J. Hedgepeth and Rev. Ken Hill. Interment was in the Hilltop Cemetery, with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included Jake Rouse, Johnson Patterson, Bill Wilkerson, Mike Gartman, Jackie Richards, Doug Robinson, Gary Fairley, Harry Cochran, Robbie Fairley, Rusty Rouse, Jerry Lee, John Papania and Al Cooley.

Obit: Funeral services were held for Major Lamar Faith, Sr., 77, of Eight Mile, Ala., on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Funeral Home Chapel in St. Stephens, Ala.
Interment followed in Faith-Walker Cemetery in St. Stephens, Ala. with Rev. Charles Couey officiating the services.
A mason, 32nd degree, Shriner in both St. Stephens Lodge and Springhill on Moffett Road, Mobile, Ala., and a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Eight Mile, Ala.; he died March 13. He worked for Olin in McIntosh, Ala, and the former Allied Paper Co. in Jackson, Ala. in years past while also working as a carpenter in construction for several companies. He was an avid turkey hunter.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Smith Faith of Eight Mile, Ala.; sons Major Lamar Faith, Jr., of Mobile, Ala., and Matthew Wayne Faith of Eight Mile, Ala; daughters Igatherine Faith (Lester) Taylor of Lucedale, Sherran Faith (Emmette) Mulvehill of Jackson, Ala., Ramona Faith (Dale) Turner of Deer Park, Ala., and Sandra Faith Beech of St. Stephens, Ala.; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and brother Henry Melton (Patty) Faith of Theodore, Ala.
Pallbearers included Wade Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Jason Taylor, Owen Taylor, Justin Turner and Dewayne Turner. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Turner, Emmette Mulvehill and Lester Taylor.
St. Stephens Funeral Home in St. Stephens, Ala., was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
