A FIREMAN'S LEAP
Warren Alexander, of Poplarville, Miss., a fireman from New Orleans and Northeastern, had a narrow escape yesterday. He was at work on a switch engine about a mile from from the city, and when the locomotive jumped the track the fireman leaped through a window, suffering small hurts about the head. He was brought to the city and was sent to the hospital. [The Daily Picayune, New Orleans, LA - February 16, 1912 - Submitted by Debora Reese]
