Obit: Wilma Mae Tackitt, 80, of Monett, died 3:20 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Cox Health in Monett after a one year illness. She was born in Diamond
Grove, MO, November 1, 1926 to George W. Collings and Maggie (Brock) Doolen Collings.
Mrs. Tackitt was a longtime Kansas City, MO resident, moving to Granby in 1988.
She was a homemaker and member of the Living Waters Fellowship. In Kansas City she taught Sunday school for over 25 years and was a Missionette Leader.
Among her joys were cooking for her family, fishing, and camping.
She married Gerald D. Tackitt, June 2, 1949 in Bentonville, AR; he preceded her in death, February 23, 2006. She was also preceded in death by one grandson,
Richard "Rick" Dale Mosely, one great-grandson Malaki Mosley; a half brother, Vernon Doolen, and a half sister, Mildred VanAmber.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Lou (Gooch) Mosley Ross and her husbad, Kenneth Ross; two granddaughter, Ronda Jean (Mosley) Stuart Feiser and her
husband, Samuel "Dave" and Lisa Ann (Ross) Goodnight and her husband, Joseph "Joe"; two sisters, Beverly Carpenter and her husband Howard and Winifred
Bullard. Clark Funeral Home is in charge of services. Burial will be in Stone Cemetery in Jasper Co., Diamond, Missouri

Obit: Pamela "Pam" G. Puffinbarger, age 48, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 28, 2008, in Barry County Care Center, Cassville.
She was born August 4, 1959, in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Lyman Puffinbarger and Loretta (Smith) Puffinbarger. She was preceded in death by her
mother and grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Lyman Puffinbarger of Cassville; one bother, Leslie Puffinbarger of Missouri; two nephews, Chad and Eric; one niece, Janice
and two great nephews, Chance and Damion.
Pam resided in Illinois and then in Arkansas and in 1992 moved to Cassville to make her home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in Seligman Cemetery under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Minister Sid Allsbury will conduct the services.

Obit: Lawrence Frank Boursheski, 90, of Liberty, formerly of Pierce City, died at 10:30 a.m. March 13, 2005 at Liberty Hospital.
Mr. Boursheski was born February 27, 1915, in Corsicana, the son of Stanley and  Josephine Boursheski.
He married Mary Elizabeth McAvoy on January 11, 1944, in Pierce City, and she preceded him in death in 1998.
Survivors include one son, Jim Boursheski and his wife, Marilyn, of Springfield; one brother, Tommy Boursheski; one sister, Frances Golubski; four grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City with Father Peter Morciniec officiating. Burial will be in St.
Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Pierce City under the direction of Wessell Funeral Home of  Pierce City.
Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. today, March 15, with visitation to follow at the funeral home.

Obit: Cecil "Wayne" Wayne Pendergraft, 74, of Aurora, died January 3 following a long illness.
Mr. Pendergraft was born June 9, 1933, in Sedan, Kansas, the son of Bruce and Grace Millison Pendergraft. He was a Navy veteran, an automotive technician for
over 50 years, and attended the United Methodist Church in Aurora.
He married Ada "Ruth" Courtoy on June 5, 1960, in Sedan, Kansas, and she survives.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Kelley Martinez of Aurora; one son, David Pendergraft of Aurora; four brothers, Richard Pendergraft and Jim
Pendergraft, both of Golden, Phil Pendergraft of Seattle, Washington, and Steve Pendergraft of Dayton, Oregon; seven sisters, Letha Bays of Pratt, Kansas, Margaret Holloway of Los Angeles, California, Jean Miller of Beavercreek, Oregon, Linda Cantrell of San Jose, California, Sharon Gibbons of Dayton, Oregon; and Betty Boyles and Nina Long, both of Salem, Oregon; one grandchild, three step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin.
Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, January 8, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 7, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to PET of Southwest Missouri

Obit: James Sewal Newby, age 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at his home in Cassville.
Mr. Newby, son of Raymond and Thelma (Williams) Newby, was born on December 27, 1925, in Dalhart, Texas. He was united in marriage to Aleene Thompson on
September 27, 1947 in Aztec, New Mexico, she survives. He was a farmer most all of his life and a Veteran of the US Navy serving in World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Billy Ross Newby, and his wife, Connie, of Cassville, Missouri, Dale Kent Newby, and his wife Carrie, of
Cassville, Missouri, and James Kyle Newby, of Cassville; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri.

Obit: Tammy Nickle, 36, of Jenkins, died October 21 as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Mrs. Nickle was born January 18, 1969. She has been employed as a sales associate with Wal-Mart.
She married Charles "Chuck" Nickle on June 23, 1984, in Cassville, and he survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Christopher Nickle of the home; one daughter, Angela Nickle of the home; her mother, Dollie Frey Stockton of
Cassville; three brothers, Bobby Duty of Cassville, Josh Ayres of Seligman, and Allen Stockton of Pierce City; and three sisters, Tina Phillips of Cassville,
Sherry Holloway of Monett, and Lisa Dent of Wheaton. She was preceded in death by her father, Gale Stockton; and a half-brother, John Ayres.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 28, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Burial will be in Clio Cemetery near Jenkins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, October 27, at the funeral home.

ONE PERSON WAS KILLED AND FIVE PEOPLE WERE IN INJURED IN A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT OVER THE WEEKEND
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the following reports:
A Jenkins woman was killed and five people were hurt in a one-vehicle accident two miles south of Cassville on Highway 112 in Barry County at 9:46 p.m. Friday.
Tammy Nickle, 36, the driver, was killed in the wreck. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Barry County Coroner Skip White. Her body was taken to
Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville.
The five people injured were taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville. Sustaining minor injuries were Angela Nickle, 12, of Jenkins; Phillip Powers, 18, of
Cassville; and Robin Baker, 17, of Shell Knob. Receiving serious injuries was Christopher Nickle, 21, of Jenkins. Sustaining moderate injuries was Sean Powers, 15, of Cassville. The fatality occurred when the southbound Saturn SL2 driven by Nickle went off the road, struck a ditch and overturned several times, ejecting the driver. Investigating the accident was Trooper Gregory Curnes

Obit: Ilyssa Serena Lynn Intessimone, age 17, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis,
Missouri following a long battle with cancer.
Miss. Intessimone, daughter of Ted and Julie (Grillone) Intessimone, was born on July 16, 1990, in Neosho, Missouri. Ilyssa was a Junior at Exeter High School
and was Co-Captain of her High School Cheerleading Squad.

Survivers include, Her father, Ted Intessimone, and his wife, Crystal, of Monett, Missouri; her mother, Julie Grillone, of Exeter, Missouri; one brother,
DJ Intessimone, of the home; paternal grandfather, Leo Intessimone, of Granby, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Glenn and Jean Austinson,
of Cassville, Missouri; step-grandparents, Bob and Mary Leonard of Aurora, Missouri; and great-grandparent, John Rupprecht, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Shirlene Intessimone.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri with Reverend Larry Kackley
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri.

Obit: Ruth Webber, 98, of Austin, TX., formerly of Monett, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Austin Brighton Garden Nursing Home in Austin, TX.
Mrs. Webber was born December 16, 1909, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Jacob Spieldoch and Fanny (Kaminer) Spieldoch. She was a homemaker, worked for The Monett Times and KRMO Radio, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett.
She married Merton R. Webber on April 15, 1936, in St. Louis, MO, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1987.
Survivors include one son, Stephen E. Webber and wife, Elena Dormidonpova, of Beachwood, OH; three grandchildren, David Webber, Michael Webber, and Stephanie Perry; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Schmidt.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Buchanan Funeral Chapel with Clif Crockett officiating.
Interment will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett

Obit: Beverly Charlene (Crose) Thurman, 57, of Monett, died at 9:50 a.m. March 21, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Thurman was born August 4, 1950, in Appalachia, Virginia, the daughter of John and Rose Moore Crose. She and her husband owned Mom's Stagger Inn in
Monett. She married John Thurman on February 15, 1986, in Monett, and he survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Dawn Whittington and Candy Whittington, both of Pierce City, and Raven Whittington of Monett; five sons,
Robert Thurman, Kevin Whittington, Jason Whittington, and Willy Thurman, all of Monett, and John Thurman of Purdy; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Jones.
The body has been cremated under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, March 25, at the funeral home.

Obit: Anna Marie Katzfey Parrigon, 73, of Monett, died March 21 at Mercy Villa in Springfield.
Mrs. Parrigon was born August 20, 1934, in Wentworth, the daughter of Frank and Lena Eck Katzfey. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City.She married Billy Parrigon on June 3, 1955, and he preceded her in death October 9, 1999.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Holland of Sarcoxie; three sons, Gene Parrigon of Springfield, Gary Parrigon of Verona, and Glenn Parrigon of Pierce
City; two sisters, Janice Sommers and Dorthy Katzfey, both of Sarcoxie; and 11grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Bower, in February of 2005.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City with Father
John Braun officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under thedirection of Lakin Funeral Home of Pierce City.
Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. today, March 24, at the funeral home with visitation to follow.

Obit: Nathan Glen Carlisle, 25, of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 3:24 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, in Springfield, Missouri. Nathan was born May 20, 1982,
in Springfield, Missouri, to Glen and Sherry (Anderson) Carlisle. He was the grandson of the late Bob and Naomi Anderson, and Ed and Pauline Carlisle, the
great grandson of the late Fern Lamberson.
Nathan was a student at Missouri State University in Springfield. He also worked as a carrier for The Monett Times and the Monett Shopper. Nathan was a member of the Chapel of Grace Church in Monett.
Along with his parents, Nathan is survived by one brother, Jason Kinnear and his wife, Laura, of Columbia, Missouri; one sister, Michelle Schuetz and her husband, David, of Monett, Missouri. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Dalton, Avery, and Gavin Schuetz, Elizabeth, Abgail, Katherine, and
Tobias Kinnear.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 10 a.m. at Monett IOOF Cemetery, Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 6 till 8 p.m. at
Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, Missouri.


Olive M. Wells
Olive M. Wells, 84, of Washburn, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at her home.
Mrs. Wells was born July 15, 1922, in Glenside, Penn., the daughter of Wilmer and Olive (Weigner) Montanya. On July 8, 1950, she was united in marriage to James Wells. He preceded her in death in June 1998.
Olive served as a navy Wave during World War II. She was a retired employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
She moved to Washburn from Pittsburgh, Penn, in 2003.

Survivors include: one son, Everett Wells of Perrysburg, Ohio; three daughters, Olive Wells of Dekalb, Ill., Wilma Keefe of Effingham, S.C., and Emily Swan of Washburn; one brother, Bill Montanya of Smyrna Beach, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Wolfe Memorial Forest Hills Chapel, Pittsburgh, Penn. Rev. Jonathan Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to New Covenant Christian Academy, 2298 S. 13trh St. Rogers, Ark. 72758. Obit: Wilma M. Robbins, 87, of Cassville, died April 9 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville.
Mrs. Robbins was born October 22, 1920, in Missouri, the daughter of Louis and Bessie Madewell Tash.
She worked as a nurse's aide for several years.
She married Earl Robbins on June 14, 1937, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Price; and two brothers, Bobby Carroll and Cleve Tash.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville
with Rev. James Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the funeral home.

Obit: Dale Harlin Garrison, 83, of Monett, died April 8 at Cox Monett Hospital.
Mr. Garrison was born October 10, 1924, in Wheaton, the son of Orville Rice and  Ada Ann Santee Garrison.
He was a welder for General Motors and a member of the United Auto Workers.
He married Julia Sophia Kresyman on November 27, 1954, and she preceded him in death November 8, 2002.
Survivors include one son, Dean Garrison and his wife, Carolyn, of Monett; one daughter, Vicki Van Sandt and her husband, Brad, of Monett;
three brothers, Coy Garrison of Carthage, Gaylord Garrison of Neosho, and Joe Garrison of Lead Hill, Arkansas;
and one sister, Cordella Kresyman of Monett.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Garrison, Wayne Garrison, Ralph Garrison, and James Garrison; and two sisters,
Bonnie Crider and Ozell Young.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Aaron Weibel officiating.
Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in
Pulaskifield under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett.
