Memphis, TN--DELAPHINE THOMPSON, 72,
of Sedgewickville, Mo., formerly of Memphis, died Tuesday in Sedgewickville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Little Whitewater Baptist Church in
Sedgewickville, where she was a member, with burial in Thompson Cemetery near
Gordonville, Mo. Liley Funeral Home of Patton, Mo., has charge.
She was a member of Critesville Extension Club. Mrs. Thompson, widow of Merrill
Thompson, leaves five daughters, Ruth Miller of Patton, Patricia Faircloth of
Valdosta, Ga., Betty Brown of Nashville, Judith Sproles of Byhalia, Miss., and
Linda McBride of Morehead City, N.C.; seven sons, Robert Thompson of Oak Ridge,
Mo., Billy Thompson of Perryville, Mo., James Thompson of Sedgewickville,
Raymond Thompson of Cordova, Rev. David Thompson of Pocahontas, Mo., Gary
Thompson of Memphis and Merrill Thompson of Marble Hill, Mo.; a sister, Lora
Crites of St. Louis; two brothers, Robert Johnson of Belleville, Ill., and John
Johnson of Collinsville, Ill., 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
