UNKNOWN NEWSPAPER FROM “CALDWELL CTY MO OBITUARIES VOLUME 2”

Isaac King was born near Carlyle Illinois, March 20, 1847 and departed this life February 8, 1931, aged 82 years, 10 months and 18 days. 

At the age of 6 years he with his parents moved from Illinois to Caldwell County, Mo., where he grew to manhood and resided until recent years.

He was united in marriage to Susan Gilbert of Kingston, Mo., on April 25, 1867, who preceded him in death, February 9, 1911. To this union nine children were born, 3 boys and 6 girls.
Two boys and one girl departed this life in infancy, and a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Handy, of North Kansas City, departed this life March 17, 1921. 
Those that survive him are: Mrs. Mary Miller of Polo, Mrs. Eliza Funk of Gridley, Kansas, Mrs. Myrtle Peoples of St. Joseph, Mrs. Lucy Pollard of Elmira and Theodore King of Lexington, Mo.,
21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, a number of other relatives and friends.

At the age of 19 he made the good confession and obeyed his Lord in baptism and united with the Christian church and kept the Faith. Burial was at Prairie Ridge, February 10th.
