CAPE GIRARDEAU CITY CEMETERIES- (These are the most active cemeteries in Cape)

-FAIRMONT is located on Caruthers Avenue in Cape.
-NEW LORIMIER, established in 1878-located one block north of Broadway on Caruthers Ave.
-ST. MARY'S located on Perry Ave.
-MEMORIAL PARK-located on State Highway 61 between Cape and Jackson.

JACKSON CEMETERIES

-RUSSELL HEIGHTS located off State Highway 72 west onto RR PP.
-OLD CITY CEMETERY located at the corner of South High and East Madison Streets.

- GRAVEL HILL CEMETERY located west of Jackson, off highway 34. NEW

- LORIMIER CEMETERY
In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty, Don Louis Lorimier and his associates D. F. Steinbeck, Victor Lorimier and Thomas S. Rodney set aside six acres of land to be used then and forever after as a burying ground for the citizens of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
