Comings and Goings

Louis Houck
CAIRO, IL--Louis Houck, Esq., formerly of this city, but now of St. Louis, is about to take up his residence in Cape Girardeau.  Shouldn’t be much surprised if Houck were to find his way back to Cairo, sooner or later.

Wm. Kreigle will have a sale of his personal property on August 6, on the Joe Call farm, four miles west of Jackson on the gravel road.  Mr. Kreigle will move to Bloom field to work in the butcher shop at that place with Frank Mogler and Albert Kinze, both Cape County men.  Bloomfield is catching several of our good citizens, and no wonder.  Bloomfield is a growing town and her citizens work together, as she has good streets, electric lights, electric fans and will soon have water works.
